Lehigh Valley Health Network delivered its first baby of 2025 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg in Bethlehem, Northampton County.
The health network says Christopher and Kloe Smith of White Haven, Luzerne County, welcomed daughter Nola Monica at 12:05 a.m.
on Jan. 1.
Nola weighed in at 6 pounds, 11.4 ounces.
Nola is the Smith family's second daughter.

The couple said they chose the name "Nola" because of its uniqueness, and the middle name, "Monica," is a celebration of Christopher's mother.
When asked about their resolution for 2025, the parents said, "to survive two children!"
