Connie was, above all things, someone who loved and cared deeply for her family, her friends, and her community. She volunteered throughout her life, from working at Detroit's International Old World Market at Christmas, to making 167 decoupaged trays for their church bazaar in Birmingham, Michigan to designing and assembling 75 yearbooks for the Birmingham Garden Club.
